MENTORING

One of the favorite parts of my photography journey is how I've been able to connect with other photographers around the country. I'm so passionate about sharing what I know and helping others in any way I can. Creative mentoring with Tenth & Grace is designed to help you achieve the results you want in camera, so you can create the work that you visualize.

Each mentoring session is tailored to the recipient, so we can discuss the topics that are most beneficial to you. However, the possible topics we can cover include:

  • How to create soft, dreamy and airy photos using film OR digital
  • How to edit digital images to look like film
  • How to incorporate film into your digital workflow
  • How to evaluate and choose locations
  • How to position yourself in relationship to the light
  • How to shoot in every type of light
  • How to shoot digital in full sun and rock it
  • How to expose your images to get the results you want
  • How to pose and direct your clients
  • How to attract your ideal client
  • How to grow your following and book clients on Instagram
  • How to create a styled shoot
  • How to get your work published on top industry blogs

The session ended up being even better than I had hoped! Even though we had never met, Tanya made me feel like a friend. She listened to my questions about technique, answered them in ways that were understandable, and walked me through her editing process. She also shared great advice that I took into my next shoot and I saw immediate results. Tanya was a wonderful teacher and has reached out to me even after our session was over! She is the type of mentor who cares about you as a person and not just passing along valuable information."
